BAE Systems to Hire Over 2,400 Apprentices and Graduates in 2025


BAE Systems is focusing on building its future workforce by hiring over 2,400 apprentices and graduates in 2025. This will bring the total number of trainees at the company to 6,500, making up 15% of its UK workforce.


The company has invested £1 billion in skills and training since 2020, covering apprenticeships, graduate programs, and upskilling initiatives. A new skills academy in Glasgow was opened this year, joining similar facilities in Barrow and Samlesbury, to give trainees the practical experience needed for technical and engineering roles.


The roles will be spread across the UK, including Scotland, Wales, and the North of England, offering opportunities to young people while supporting local communities.
